When you send a booking request: name, email, phone, country, number of guests, stay dates and the message you send us.

When you pay: payment is made by bank transfer to the owner's account. We only record the date and the amount received; we store no card or bank account details of yours.

Before arrival, Portuguese law requires us to collect identification details of foreign guests to report them to the authorities.

To handle your request, booking, payment and stay — performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

To meet legal, tax and guest-registration obligations — legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

We never use your data for marketing without your explicit consent.

Supabase (database hosting in the European Union — Ireland), Resend (email delivery) and Vercel (website hosting). They only process data on our instructions and with appropriate safeguards for any transfer outside the European Economic Area.

Requests that don't become bookings: up to [12 months]. Bookings and invoicing: for the legal retention period for tax records (10 years). Guest registration forms: as required by law.

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, or object to its processing, by writing to [email].

We use necessary cookies for your session and language preference. When analytics is configured, PostHog is activated only after explicit consent, which you can withdraw in Analytics preferences. We do not use advertising cookies, session recordings or analytics in the private dashboard.
